Plyometrics
To improve your performance in sports one must always exercise and train. Specialized exercise and trainings are followed for different types of sports. Plyometrics is used to increase the speed or force of muscular contractions. It is a type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements and improve the functions of the nervous system.
Plyometric training involves practicing plyometric movements to toughen tissues and train}]j nerve cells. It uses the strength, elasticity and innervations of muscle and surrounding tissues to jump higher, run faster, throw farther, or hit harder. It depends on the desired training goal. Different sports equipments are used in plyometric training like speed hurdles, drill cones, and jumping rope to name a few.
