Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a semi-voluntary association of 1,281 institutions, conferences, organizations and individuals that organizes the athletic programs of many colleges and universities in the United States and Canada.

In August 1973, the current three-division setup of Division I, Division II, and Division III was adopted by the NCAA membership in a special convention. Under NCAA rules, Division I and Division II schools can offer scholarships to athletes for playing a sport. Division III schools may not offer any athletic scholarships. Garments worn by extreme sports enthusiasts like surfers, divers, windsurfers and other water sports are made of foamed material, usually neoprene. Wetsuits are worn to provide thermal insulation. A snug fitting wetsuit is important for it to work efficiently. If it is loose, it will allow water to escape from between the suit and the body, taking the body’s heat with it. Flexible seals at the cuffs help in water retention.

Buying a wetsuit can be tricky. Aside from determining the right size you will want to be sure that the suit indeed is waterproof. So how do you test if the seams are any good? With the suit on the hanger, hold the sleeve somewhere between the armpit and the elbow squeezing tightly. Blow into the sleeve to make a balloon. If the stitches are any good, the balloon will stay in place for a while.

I have always been fascinated by the oriental arts. When I was a little boy I wished I was a ninja. However this cannot be true now. I can however still throw martial arts throwing knives. These knives are crafted so excellently they seem like the real thing.

These knives are accurate in the hands of a trained user. Using this on a target feels good. However I do not intend to use it on a human being. These make excellent collector’s items too. With these knives I feel like an actual ninja.

The construction of an inflatable boat is so much more complicated than that of a kayak or toy inflatables. When going in the water to see nature at its finest it is always great to have good gear. When exploring the deep blue sea it is essential to have good visibility. The Elk, or Wapiti (Cervus canadensis), is one of the largest species of deer in the world and one of the largest land mammals in North America and eastern Asia. Elk range in forest and forest-edge habitat, feeding on grasses, plants, leaves, and bark. Elk are susceptible to a number of infectious diseases, some of which can be transmitted to livestock.

Although native to North America and Eastern Asia, they have adapted well to countries where they have been introduced, including Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand. Their great adaptability may threaten endemic species and ecosystems into which they have been introduced. Because of their adaptability and susceptibility, elk are held in captivity, or farmed, for hunting, meat production and velvet collection. A hunter pays a fee for an essentially guaranteed chance to shoot an elk (with or without the use of elk calls) in an escape-proof range called a canned hunt. Elk meat is leaner and higher in protein than beef or chicken which makes them game species.
