In the game of golf, a club is used to hit the ball. Each club is made up of a shaft with a lance or grip, and a club head. There are various types of golf clubs made for different plays:

• Woods are clubs that are mainly used for tee shots on long-distance fairways. They normally have a large head and a long shaft for maximum club speed.
• Irons are the most versatile clubs which are used for various shots. They have flat angled faces and a shorter shaft than the woods. They are designed for shots nearing the green or from difficult areas like the base of a hill or over trees.
• Putters are mostly used on the green to roll the ball into the cup.

Earvin Magic Johnson played in the NBA for more than a dozen seasons. He has won five championships and legions of fans. When he was forced to retire back in 1991 after contracting HIV, many basketball aficionados around the world expressed a huge sense of loss. At the time, prices of Magic Johnson cards soared.

Johnson was considered the greatest point guard who ever lived. So it was with joy that fans welcomed him back in the 1995-96 seasons. What made Magic great was that he was nearly impossible to guard because he stands 6′9″ and weighs 225 pounds. He could force smaller defenders into the lane and shoot over them while running circles around bigger players.

Every year hundreds of companies reward their employees. Companies reward their employees for many reasons. Some employees are rewarded for their achievement, others get rewarded for their loyalty. In our company I am the ones tasked to choose the trophies for our deserving sales people. I used to get so stressed because I had to find a trophy store. Today, I can easily order online trophies.

I’m a water person. I feel more at home in water than on land. I love to sail, kayak or snorkel. I even have more scuba dive boots than rubber shoes. If I had it my way I’ll wear them all the time.

Double checking if all is in order and in perfect working condition, you load your gear in your car and hit the road. You are sure that today, you are going to have one hell of a time.

You want to tell people about it. It is your share in preserving the only home we have. You are very passionate about this advocacy of yours.

But now you want to take it to the next level. You want to help out in cleaning. You have enlisted yourself to clean the trash. But you won’t be picking up the trash on a street. You will be collecting the junk from under the water. There are dangers to having plastic underwater. Fish might eat it and die. So you get some good scuba gear and prepare yourself for the dive that will help save mother earth.

One of my favorite Superheroes of all time is Aquaman. Anybody who can communicate with fishes and breathe underwater is so cool. To be my own Aquaman, I decided to take up scuba. I may not be able to talk to talk to fishes but I can breathe underwater thanks to a diving regulator.

A diving regulator is a diving equipment that allows divers to breathe air underwater. It works hand in hand with a tank. The breathing gas is inside a scuba tank. It is highly pressurize. The diving regulator adjusts the pressure of the breathing gas so it’s fit for breathing.

Extreme sports are taking the world by storm. One of the fastest growing extreme sports is paintball. It is a gun battle where people shoot each other with guns that fire plastic pellets filled with paint. The pellet (paintball) will shatter when it hits something there by marking the hit. Getting hit by a paintball will hurt. Often, it will leave a mark. Playing paintball is like fighting in a real battle. It keeps your adrenalin pumping. That’s why people get addicted. If you’re planning on getting into the action try looking for paintball packages. By doing so, you can save a bundle.

Paintball packages are good for beginners. Look for a starter kit that includes a gun, paintballs, paintball loader and tank. The advantage of getting a starter package is when you get home you can fire you gun already. No need to get additional accessories. Also, make sure your start kit has protective gear. If not, get one before playing.

A lot of people have discovered just how fun wakeboarding is. Know how to properly care for your wakeboard and accessories so you can enjoy them longer. After using, rinse the wakeboard with fresh water. If you’re on the beach, take a little brush and brush out some of the clinging sand.

Check the wakeboard’s bottom in case you hit something during the ride and which may require repair. Before and after a wakeboarding session, also go over all the nuts and bolts of your board. Make sure they are all secured. Remember to store wakeboards on wakeboard racks when not in use.

The impact of the club compresses the ball, while grooves on the clubface give the ball backspin. The majority of woods and irons are labeled with a number; higher numbers indicate shorter shafts and higher lofts, which give the ball a higher and shorter trajectory.

There are different kinds of clubs for different purposes. Woods are long distance clubs. Irons are designed for shots approaching the green. Putters are a special kind of clubs designed primarily to roll the ball along the grass. Another variation of the putter called the Chipper club has a much higher loft, often 30-45 degrees. It is used to lift the ball over or out of the rough or fringe and onto the green with a motion similar to a putt.
