A trophy is typically a reward for a specific achievement, and usually serves as a proof of merit. There are online stores that offer all sports trophies for your awarding and recognition needs. Some of the sports trophies that are offered include trophies for baseball, basketball, bowling, golf, and hockey, just to name a few. Trophies are most often awarded for sporting events ranging from youth oriented sports to professional level athletics.
Trophies have marked victories since the ancient times. Nowadays, trophies are much less expensive, and much more pervasive, thanks in part to mass produced plastic trophies. The Academy Awards Oscar is a trophy with a stylized human, while the Hugo award for science fiction is a space ship. Most sports trophies depict something about the particular sport, whether it is a figure of a player in action or a piece of equipment that will distinguish the trophy as being for that specific type of sporting event.

A kneeboard is typically a board that is ridden in a kneeling stance. These knee boards are ridden in ocean surf, or while being towed behind a boat on a lake or a river. The advantages to kneeboarding include an extremely low center of gravity, less resistance to the wind, the ability to ride higher and farther back in the tubes, and being able to take off on a steeper part of the wave. Kneeboard riders often wear life jackets and catch the wave by paddling and kicking in the water.
Towed kneeboarding is actually an offshoot of kneeboard surfing. Towed kneeboards have a padded deck contoured to the shape of the shins and knees, as well as a strap that holds the rider to the board. Towed kneeboarding declined in popularity with the arrival of wakeboarding but it still enjoys popularity among water skiers. A kneeboard is a good piece of equipment to start out on for boat-towed sports since the low center of gravity makes it easier to get up on than a waterski or wakeboard, which both require standing up.
