More than any other sport, football seems most truly American. Football has grown right along with our nation and our way of life. So for those who are just starting to learn about this game, here are some football 101 information that you need to know:

~ There are three basic forms of moving the ball – kicking, running, and passing. Running with the ball must be regarded as the most important.
~ Do not try any blocking or tackling without complete and proper uniforms, this includes well-padded helmets.
~ The sandlot or your back yard so long as it has an ample space for a football kicking net are both good spots to practice your football maneuvers and to have your neighborhood games, but again, no tackling and no blocking without full gears and uniforms.
