Akadema batting glove
My brother used to play fastpitch softball but made the switch to slowpitch a few years ago. An injury to his shoulder almost led him to hang his Akadema batting glove permanently. Surgery corrected the injury, and then it was followed by a year and a half of therapy.
So he was definitely happy on the day he was told that he can play again. While swtiching to slowpitch meant relearning how to pitch, it didn’t bother him one bit. He was just happy to hold a ball and wear his gloves again. He had asked if he can switch to batting, but the doctors told him that he might injure his shoulder anew (or have a new injury), so kept to his pitching position.
